This may be the kind of blog I write every fall, about transitions. It can't be helped really because suddenly everything is changing swiftly, leaves falling first from the yellowing soybean fields, students back in school, apples and pumpkins.
The Market certainly has gone through some transitions this season, starting June 3 with strawberries in the front part of the barn and just a few other market items and slowly expanding to the back of the barn, with the question being now, "Where will we put the next item?" The fun part of doing The Market in the fall is finding away to best to display all the beautiful pumpkins, squash, and fruit. We get to decorate first with everything and then listen to all the many fall decorating ideas as you take them from our market home to yours. Like nearly every weekend so far, don't expect to see things set up the same at The Market from week to week, but do expect to have a friendly experience with quality products. We have fun transitioning with the seasons at Pickwick, we hope you will too, and who knows what next year will bring! Here's what you should find at The Market for fall: swiftly expanding apple choices, pumpkins, all types of beautiful squashes, gourds, Indian corn, and much, much more!
