In 2011, Greg and Rose Hartschuh started hosting field trips at their farm in rural Crawford County. In 2015, they joined other farm families at The Pickwick Place in Bucyrus. After two years at their town location, Greg and Rose realized that their passion was rooted in real, authentic farm experiences and educating all types of groups with positive messages about modern agriculture. They achieved non-profit status in 2017 and began the process of moving back to their rural, farm venue. They remain committed to quality, fun, educational experiences and look forward to furthering their vision and expanding their program offerings in the future. As farmers themselves, they understand that the general public needs real opportunities to learn where their food comes from. This project is bigger than Greg and Rose as two people; it is a combined effort of countless individuals, businesses, and organizations who share their goal to fight misconceptions surrounding modern agriculture.
